Massive WIN! Magesi FC register what can be called their 'win of the season' with a 5-2 win of Durban City in a PSL match to move way from bottom spot

Mcedi Vandala scored a brace for Magesi FC against Durban City in what can be described as their ‘games of the season; in a 5-2 win at home.

The massive win for the Seshego-based side saw them move away from the base of the Betway Premiership standings to the 14th spot.

Now Orbit College are the bottom side with Marumo Gallants now on the Relegation/Promotion Play-Off spot.

This was an unthinkable result for Dikwena Tsa Meetsi more so against Nedbank Cup finalists in Durban City.

Kgotatso Maiba, Lehlogonolo Mokone and Godfrey Mashigo also scored in this game to further bring doubt on whether Durban City can finish in the top eight.

The shake up in the coaching reigns at the club have seen them flop in recent games and stand in man Pitso Dladla has not managed to turn the team around.

They scored their goals through via Jean Lwamba who scored a brace.

City are now on the sixth spot and should they continue on this wayward displays they will finish outside the top eight.
