Durban City coach Pitso Dladla on his team's attacking prowess: We are not converting as much chances as we are creating and that is quite concerning

Pitso Dladla is concerned by lack of conversion of chances by his Durban City side.

Dladla said his side has been at the mercy of goalkeeper, Darren Keet’s brilliance in many PSL games this season.

Dladla said Keet and his defence have rescued the team in games they ought to have lost.

“We need to become a team that scores goals. We are working on that. We need to find different combinations,” Dladla said after City’s 1-0 loss to Golden Arrows last weekend in a Betway Premiership match.

“We need to come up with different forms of attack for us to improve in terms of our conversion rates. It is a concern but we will work on it.”

“Look, the numbers are there, the stats are there. I do agree with you 100%. There are games where we have been surviving because of our goalkeeper Darren Keet and defensive players and then we get away.

“But it is not something we have been discussing as a technical team. We need to become a team that really creates goals and scoring chances.”
