Tsiki Ntsabeleng said Mamelodi Sundowns know that their objective of being in Tunisia this evening is clear.

“It’s a semi-final, a big game for both teams, but we have come here with a clear objective and we look to achieve that objective,” said Ntsabeleng ahead of their semi-final clash against Esperance in the Caf Champions League.

This blockbuster clash is a huge test for Sundowns as they lost in the final in last season’s edition against Egyptian giants, Pyramids.

The ‘clear objective’ Ntsabeleng is probably talking about is that of earning an away goal so to have a less pressure kind of a second leg game in South Africa when the Tunisians fly down.

Be that as it may, the fact remains like Ntsabeleng also said it’s a big game for both teams and it will call for a big performance.

For the Tunisians, there is less pressure as they have beaten Sundowns in this stage of the competition two seasons ago, while for the South African side pressure may be intense.

They lost in last season’s final and are looking to make amends of that defeat in this year’s edition but Esperance are their semi-final hurdle.

Miguel Cardoso’s men are without left back Aubrey Modiba who is suspended for the game and Cardoso is expected to call Divine Lunga or Fawaaz Basadien to fill Modiba’s void.

The game at Olympique Hammadi Agrebi Stadium starts at 9pm.
