Mamelodi Sundowns' Marcello Allende on their clash against Orlando Pirates: It's a big nice game, a big one for our league run

Marcello Allende says Mamelodi Sundowns are an ambitious side with their aim at lifting the all trophies available.

Allende said ahead of their blockbuster clash against Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium tomorrow night in the Betway Premiership.

Pirates are atop of the standings with 38 points while Sundowns second with 32 having played two games less than Pirates.

So the game at the Nasrec venue presents the Chloorkop side with an opportunity to lessen the gap in the PSL standings.

“It’s a nice game, big one also because it’s very important for the league,” said Allende.

“We are Sundowns, we want to win everything, we want to win the league and all the cups.

Allende now means Sundowns are interested in the Caf Champions League, Nedbank Cup and also the Betway Premiership honours.

That’s because those are the remaining competitions they are in.

Last Saturday they won 2-0 against MC Alger to reach the Caf Champions League quarterfinals.

That victory was a timely boots for the Miguel Cardoso troops ahead of the clash against table toppers in Orlando Pirates tomorrow night.
