Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khulumani Ndamane ahead of their PSL match against AmaZulu: We have forgotten what happened in our previous game

Mamelodi Sundowns have no memory of what happened at Solomon Mahlangu Stadium last Saturday against TS Galaxy.

Sundowns have forgotten that TS Galaxy dumped them out of the Nedbank Cup 2-0 at a packed Mpumalanga venue.

Defender Khulumani Ndamane revealed that the Betway Premiership defending champions now have set their sights on this evening’s match against AmaZulu.

The game is at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

“The guys were not good, it happened but it has passed, we’re now focusing on AmaZulu’s game,” said Ndamane.

“The coach told us to forget about what happened on Saturday and focus on the next league game.”

The Brazilians are looking to reduce Orlando Pirates’ lead on the PSL standings as they are second with three points separating them from the Sea Robbers.

Sundowns are on 35 points while Pirates have 38.

“It won’t be an easy game because AmaZulu have also been doing well in their previous games,” he added.

“So, ours is to focus on the game and execute the coach’s game plan. I think that can help in winning the game.”

The game starts at 7.30pm.
