The young Senegalese defender has assured that he remains fully committed to meeting the manager’s expectations at the World Cup, which is being held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
At a press conference ahead of the round of 32 match between Senegal and Belgium at the 2026 World Cup, Mamadou Sarr expressed his composure. The player says he is ready to seize his chance if it arises. Mamadou Sarr also spoke about his time in Belgium, the country Senegal are set to face this Wednesday, 1 July at 8 pm GMT at Lumen Field in Seattle.
“Every player dreams of playing in a World Cup. After that, it’s down to the manager. As soon as he calls on me, I’ll be ready. I spent six months in Molenbeek. That’s where I made my name. So I have some wonderful memories of Belgium.”
