Klopp's likely successor has reacted to interest from Liverpool

There is a lot of speculation around the name of Liverpool's head coach for next season right now. One or another specialist is being linked with the job at Anfield. Earlier, Xabi Alonso refused to leave his team, but the Bayer coach is not the only one on this list.

Sporting head coach Ruben Amorim has also been linked with Liverpool, and is being wooed to Bayern too. It is also reported that his successor in Lisbon could be Munich assistant coach Anthony Barry, but the Portuguese rejects all links with other clubs.

"I am the coach of Sporting and only the coach of Sporting. The only thing about these rumours that annoys me is that they have found a replacement for me. It upsets me, even today I told sporting director Hugo Viana to calm down because it's not true. That's the only thing I have given attention to," Amorim was quoted by Sky Sports as saying.
