Kaizer Chiefs coach Cedric Kaze on return of goalkeeper Brandon Peterson: He is a top player, our captain and he gives us confidence in our games
Cedric Kaze has lauded the return of goalkeeper Brandon Peterson to the team.
Peterson missed Chiefs’ five searches due to injury and Bruce Bvuma came in his place to concede five goals.
But now the former Bidvest Wits goal-minder is back in the reckoning as he kept a clean sheet on Sunday in a 2-0 victory against TS Galaxy at FNB Stadium.
He is expected to make the starting line-up against Magesi FC this evening at New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
“About Brandon, he’s a player, he’s our captain and he is a player that gives you confidence,” said Kaze.
“A player that gives you that stability as well at the back. He’s a player that is a leader on, off the field as well and we are happy that he’s back.
“I hope that his performance will be good going forward.”
The match starts at 7.3opm.
