Alex Iwobi has told Nigerian fans to expect intensity and commitment when the Super Eagles face Mozambique in the AFCON 2025 round of 16. Nigeria reached the knockout stage after winning all three group matches, but Iwobi said the team understands the risks.
He told Ademola Victor TV, “Of course, we have got three wins out of three games… We cannot get complacent…”
The midfielder impressed, delivering assists against Tanzania and Tunisia. Looking ahead, Iwobi said the Eagles would keep their standards, adding, “The same thing we got in the group stage… give a hundred percent…” Nigeria meet Mozambique on Monday in Fes.
