Inter have made a new offer to Genoa to buy goalkeeper Josep Martinez, as reported by soccer insider Fabrizio Romano.

According to the source, the Milan club have offered the Gryphons €13 million plus €2 million as an additional payment. Inter are confident of finalizing the deal to buy the player this week.

Martinez, 26, became a full Genoa player last summer. "Gryphons" bought the player from RB Leipzig for €3.5. Before that, the Spanish goalkeeper played for the team from Genoa on loan.

Last season, the goalkeeper played 36 matches in Serie A, in which he conceded 43 goals with 8 "clinches".

Earlier, it was reported that Inter may reconsider their decision on Hakan Çalhanoglu in case of a large offer from Bayern.

Inter were Italian champions last season, 19 points ahead of Milan. Genoa finished 11th in Serie A.
