Indomitable Lions arrive in Abidjan ahead of their friendly against Ivory Coast

David Pagou and his players have settled in whilst they wait for 3 October..

The Cameroon team arrives in Abidjan following the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Indomitable Lions recorded a win in Garoua and a draw in Brazzaville.

An encouraging start for David Pagou’s side, who are now turning their attention to their international friendly against Côte d’Ivoire. The match is scheduled for Saturday 3 October at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Ebimpe.

This match will bring the international break to a close for both teams. Unlike the Indomitable Lions, the Elephants will go into this international friendly on the back of two victories in their first two qualifying matches.

Hervé Renard’s side have beaten Ghana and Somalia. But beyond the results of the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, this is a prestigious fixture between two giants of African football.
