For the first time in NBA history, a father and his son will play together on the same team.

In the second round of the draft, the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny James, the son of the legendary LeBron James, with the 55th overall pick.

Bronny, who is only 19 years old, plays as a guard.

Last season, Bronny James played for the University of Southern California. In the NCAA, he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Lakers fans are extremely displeased with the club's decision, accusing LeBron of leveraging his influence to bring his son onto the team despite his basketball skills.

It should be noted that in the recently concluded NBA season, the Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
