Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho from Aston Villa, who is currently on loan at Qatari club Al-Duhail, may return to Brazil in the summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Vasco da Gama club is negotiating with the agents of the 31-year-old footballer. The club expresses confidence that they will be able to sign the Brazilian player, as he has shown interest in returning. Coutinho began his career in the academy of this club before moving to Europe in 2008, signing a contract with Inter Milan for around 4 million euros.

The current contract of the midfielder with Aston Villa expires in June 2026. Coutinho will return to Birmingham in early July of this year, after the end of the loan agreement with Al-Duhail. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's value at 7.5 million euros.

In the current season, the Brazilian footballer has participated in 21 matches for Al-Duhail in various tournaments, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists.
