Chelsea is negotiating for a goalkeeper from La Liga

London's Chelsea is working on strengthening their goalkeeping position. This summer, the club plans to sign another goalkeeper and has turned its attention to Spain's La Liga.

According to Football London, the London club is showing interest in Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia. The Blues sent scouts to observe the Georgian's performances during the second half of the 2023/24 season. The club was highly impressed with his displays for the Bats over the past two years.

Another option for Chelsea is Filip Jörgensen from Villarreal. The Londoners recently discussed with his representatives the possibility of moving to England.

It is reported that Kepa Arrizabalaga is likely to leave the club this summer. Chelsea hopes to sell the goalkeeper, who spent the current season on loan at Real Madrid. Additionally, Gabriel Slonina will return to Chelsea after his loan spell at Eupen, but he might be sent out on loan again.
