Chelsea set their price for star player amid Manchester City interest
Chelsea are ready to part ways with Pedro Neto this summer, but the club expects to receive around £70 million for the Portuguese winger. According to talkSPORT, the main contender for the 26-year-old is Manchester City.
The Citizens' interest in Neto is linked to the possible departure of Savinho. Tottenham have long been keen on the Brazilian, and Roberto De Zerbi sees him as a key attacking reinforcement. The London club had already tried to sign the player last year and again in the winter transfer window.
If Savinho moves to Tottenham, Manchester City could use the freed-up funds to pursue Neto. The Portuguese winger is well known to Enzo Maresca from their time together at Chelsea. Liverpool and AC Milan are also in the race for Neto, with the Merseysiders considering him as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
It's worth recalling that Neto joined the London club from Wolverhampton in 2024 for £54 million. Since then, he has made 54 Premier League starts and scored nine goals. However, following the £117 million signing of Morgan Rogers, competition for a spot on the wing has intensified significantly.
