Manchester United are sinking deeper into crisis! Michael Carrick's team have now gone seven consecutive matches without a victory after suffering a humiliating Champions League defeat against Cesc Fabregas' Como.

Details: Manchester United suffered a crushing 4-1 defeat away to Como on October 21, extending their winless streak across all competitions to seven matches. Nico Paz scored twice for the Italian hosts, while Anastasios Douvikas and Jacobo Ramon also found the net. Joshua Zirkzee scored United's only goal in stoppage time, but it was far too late to influence the outcome. The result represents another serious setback for Michael Carrick, whose future at Old Trafford has already become the subject of growing speculation.

United's nightmare began almost immediately. Paz opened the scoring in the second minute, leaving the visitors chasing the game from the beginning. Como continued to dominate after halftime, with Douvikas scoring in the 49th minute, Paz adding his second in the 57th and Ramon making it 4-0 in the 76th.

Zirkzee finally pulled one back for Manchester United in the 91st minute, reducing the deficit to 4-1. However, the late consolation did nothing to disguise another deeply disappointing performance from the English giants.

The defeat follows a disastrous run of results. United have collected just seven points from their opening seven Premier League fixtures and sit 13th in the standings. Defensive mistakes, poor attacking efficiency and repeated failures to secure victories have raised serious concerns.

Pressure on Carrick is reaching another level. Reports previously suggested that the club's directors still supported their manager but demanded immediate improvement. Seven consecutive matches without a win will only intensify speculation surrounding his future.

It's worth noting that United had gone six matches without victory before travelling to Como. The 4-1 defeat extended that streak to seven. No official announcement concerning Carrick's dismissal has been made.
