Cameroon v Ivory Coast: venue, kick-off time and TV channels

The Indomitable Lions and the Elephants are set to face off this Saturday, 3 October, in Abidjan for an international friendly.

Kick-off for this clash is at 7 pm GMT at the Ebimpe Olympic Stadium in Abidjan. This fixture will pit two sides against each other who know each other well.

Their last meeting was at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations held in Morocco. The Indomitable Lions and the Elephants played out a 1–1 draw in the group stage.

But beyond this fixture, Cameroon and Ivory Coast have faced each other on several occasions throughout history. The two sides have met 19 times since 1970. These encounters have resulted in nine wins for the Indomitable Lions, six for the Elephants and four draws.

Cameroon and Ivory Coast will go head-to-head this Saturday following their opening matches in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Hervé Renard’s side have had a perfect start, with two wins from two matches without conceding a single goal. Meanwhile, David Pagou’s team have recorded one win and one draw.

Despite the friendly nature of the match on 3 October, it promises to be a thrilling encounter between two giants of African football. Fans will be able to watch this clash on television.

Fans in Ivory Coast will be able to watch the match live on NCI and La 3, whilst CRTV will broadcast it in Cameroon. Canal+ Sport will also be an option across the continent.
