CAFC: Pyramids Coach Kryzstov Juric Admits Fixture Challenges But Says Team Want Win Against Rivers United

Pyramids FC head coach Kryzstov Juric has acknowledged that his squad is facing a demanding schedule but stressed that the Egyptian champions are determined to secure a victory against Rivers United.

Juric revealed that fixture congestion has significantly impacted the team, with a string of domestic and continental matches in a short period, including trips to Morocco, Nigeria, and travel across Egypt.

Speaking during his pre-match interview with the press media ahead of the encounter against Rivers United, the coach said,

“Pyramids FC is suffering greatly from fixture congestion, having played several domestic and continental matches in a very short period, including trips to Morocco and Nigeria, as well as travel within Egypt. This is negatively impacting the players,” he said. “The team arrived in Nigeria with a large number of absences due to injuries or rest, but despite this, they must play to win the match".
