Bryan Mbeumo causes a stir at a Cocody school, Abidjan

Pupils at the Lycée Moderne de Cocody in Ivory Coast were thrilled to meet the Cameroonian striker during a training session with the Cameroonian national team.

In footage shared on social media, Bryan Mbeumo can be seen surrounded and cheered by numerous pupils from the Lycée Moderne de Cocody, who were clearly delighted to meet the Cameroonian Manchester United star.

The atmosphere was jubilant and the pupils were clamouring around the Cameroonian striker. It was a memorable experience for these pupils from Cocody, who had the chance to meet the Cameroonian star.

The Cameroon national team has been in Ivory Coast since 30 September for its international friendly against the Elephants. The match is scheduled for 3 October at the Ebimpe Olympic Stadium.

This match will bring the September–October international break to a close for both teams, following their first two fixtures in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
