Barcelona has officially announced the departure of three players.

As a free agent, 33-year-old left-back Marcos Alonso will leave the club.

The loan agreements of Atletico Madrid striker Joao Felix and Manchester City right-back Joao Cancelo have expired. The club announced that they are leaving the Catalan capital.

Interestingly, Barcelona have since deleted the reports that Felix and Cancelo are leaving from their official accounts.

It was previously reported that Barcelona's new coach, Hansi Flick, is interested in re-loaning Félix from Atlético, who are willing to sell him.

Last season, Alonso played eight matches for the Blaugrana. Félix scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 44 matches, while Cancelo contributed four goals and six assists in 42 appearances.

Recently, it was reported that Barcelona is unwilling to sell their young talent, even for a record sum.
