Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart could swap top strikers

Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart, both of whom qualified for the Champions League this season, are considering a swap involving two top strikers.

According to Florian Plettenberg, Stuttgart is showing interest in Dortmund's forward Niclas Füllkrug. The club has not yet made an official offer to the "black and yellows" but has inquired about the terms of a possible transfer.

At the same time, Borussia Dortmund has almost reached an agreement to sign Stuttgart's top scorer Serhou Guirassy for €17.5 million.

Borussia Dortmund might be open to this transfer as their new head coach Nuri Sahin also highly values young forward Youssoufa Moukoko.

In the recently concluded season, the 31-year-old Füllkrug scored 12 goals and provided 8 assists in 31 Bundesliga matches.
