BLOW!! Stellenbosch FC have suffered a blow ahead of their clash against Orlando Pirates tomorrow night as defender Thabo Moloisane is suspended

Stellenbosch FC will face Orlando Pirates without influential defender Thabo Moloisane.

Moloisane is suspended for the clash at Athlone Stadium tomorrow night which is something that may leave Stellies thinner at the back as he has been a pillar for the team this season.

The tough tackling Moloisane has also been drafted into the Bafana Bafana set up this season for his heroics for the Cape Winelands club.

But against the title chasing Pirates, Moloisane will be suspended and his team will have to do without him.

His absence for Gavin Hunt’s men is likely to weaken them heavily in defence as Hunt will now have to do use players he has not played together before.

Hunt has Olisah Ndah, Benric Stanic, Athenkosi Mcaba and Mosa Lebusa at his disposal for the central defensive pairing ahead of the clash against title chasing Pirates.

Lebusa has not played in previous three games for Stellies and it is not clear what is actually holding him back.

Striker Tshegofatso Mabasa is unavailable as his loan agreement between the two clubs bars him from playing against his parent club.

The match starts at 7.30pm at Athlone Stadium.
