Oswin Appollis said Orlando Pirates do not care about the Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns results
Oswin Appollis and his Orlando Pirates team-mates are not interested in what happens between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns this evening.
Appollis said Pirates are not focused on the result at Loftus Versveld because they are focused is on what Pirates does not other teams.
Chiefs are away at Sundowns this evening, where a result against Miguel Cardoso's troops would be ideal for Pirates as it mean the game remains at five points.
But a win for Sundowns would seem them stretch their lead to eight points.
The Bafana Bafana international said his team were thrilled at collecting maximum points at Athlone Stadium last night when they beat Stellenbosch FC 2-0.
"First of all I want to congratulate the whole team. Today we knew it would not be easy. They are a tough opponent," said Appollis who was announced as the Betway Premiership Player of the Month yesterday.
"I am very happy that we managed to score the two goals."
"I know we had a couple of chances to score and didn't manage to find the back of the net, but I am very happy with the three points."
"Our coach always tells to focus on the next game. Our next opponent is Magesi so we are just focused on that game, whatever happens happens."
