Barcelona has decided to shield its players following shocking news from the treatment room.
Details: According to The Touchline, the Blaugrana management has sent a request to the Royal Spanish Football Federation demanding that Lamine Yamal's playing time be limited in the upcoming friendly against Egypt. The club insists that the 18-year-old prodigy either does not take the field at all or plays no more than 45 minutes.
This ultimatum follows the serious injury to Raphinha, who was sidelined for five weeks after playing for Brazil. Hansi Flick's coaching staff is reportedly furious about the situation.
The club is reportedly deeply concerned about Yamal's accumulated fatigue and is determined not to lose him as well.
Notably, the young talent has already featured in 40 matches for the Catalan side this season, scoring 21 goals and providing 16 assists.
Reminder: Barcelona has confirmed that Raphinha is out for a significant spell.
