Baleba to miss Manchester United’s start: debut date revealed for star new signing
Midfielder Carlos Baleba is currently unable to help Manchester United due to injury, although the 22-year-old’s recovery is already nearing completion.
The Cameroonian is expected to make his debut for the Red Devils in their Premier League fifth-round match against Fulham. The fixture is scheduled for 20 September.
According to Sky Sports, Baleba suffered an ankle ligament injury that has so far prevented him from taking to the field for his new team. However, the player’s recovery is progressing according to plan, with the midfielder expected to return to full training and be available to play by mid-September.
Baleba’s arrival will provide an important boost to Manchester United’s midfield. The club sees the 22-year-old as a long-term investment.
The midfielder’s current contract with Manchester United runs until the summer of 2031. As a result, the club has every reason to view Baleba as one of the team’s key players for the coming seasons.
