Alexandre Santos sees this year's Caf Champions League final as one which will put Portugal in the map.
Santos is of Portuguese descent as is Mamelodi Sundowns gaffer in Miguel Cardoso.
Santos, ahead of tomorrow's match at Loftus Versveld, said it will be history that a coach from his native will win this trophy as did by former Al-Ahly coach Manuel Jose.
“There will be a Portuguese coach being the champions, you know Manuel José the legend won before,” Santos said.
“On 24 May there will be a second, either me or Miguel.”
“I’m happy to reach the final with ASFAR, it’s my first with my staff.
“I was here twice to face Sundowns with Petro but this one is special.”
The match starts at 4pm.
