Another star signing. Al-Ahli secures Portugal national team star

Saudi Arabian club Al-Ahli has officially announced the signing of Sporting Lisbon and Portugal national team midfielder Francisco Trincão. The 26-year-old Portuguese player has inked a four-year deal with the Jeddah-based club.

According to various media reports, the deal is valued at €45 million, with an additional €5 million in potential bonuses. This brings the total value of the transfer up to €50 million.

For the record, Trincão enjoyed a standout season with Sporting last year. In the Portuguese league, the midfielder featured in 34 matches, netting seven goals and providing 11 assists.
