English giants Manchester United are seriously exploring the possibility of signing England striker Ivan Toney on loan during the upcoming January transfer window.

Details: According to reputable British outlet Football Insider, the Red Devils have urgently entered the market in search of a prolific centre-forward due to Benjamin Šeško’s persistent fitness problems. The 30-year-old English goalscorer has made it clear that he wants to return to the Premier League, while at Old Trafford they see Toney as the ideal proven operator capable of immediately solving their goalscoring crisis up front.

The Mancunians are hoping to agree a six-month loan deal for the experienced marksman with an option to make the move permanent. Aware of their shortage of reliable finishers ahead of the decisive battles in the second half of the season, the coaching staff are pushing to complete a deal with the Saudi club as quickly as possible and integrate the striker into the squad in the first days of January.

It is worth noting that Ivan Toney made an excellent impression in England’s top flight during his time at Brentford, scoring dozens of Premier League goals and winning a European Championship silver medal with the England national team.
