Spain's streak of not conceding goals at the 2024 European Championship was broken in the 18th minute of their Round of 16 match against Georgia. La Furia Roja was the only team in the tournament that had not conceded a single goal: Unai Simón kept a clean sheet in the first two games, and David Raya did the same in the third.

However, the streak was broken against Georgia. It wasn’t due to the efforts of Willy Sagnol's team but because of a mistake by Robin Le Normand, who mishit his clearance and sent the ball into his own net. Thus, the streak ended at 288 minutes.

It’s worth noting that the Spaniards equalized before halftime. Manchester City midfielder Rodri scored with a precise shot.

Additionally, the winner of this match will face Germany in the quarterfinals. The Germans secured a hard-fought victory against Denmark yesterday.
