Bayern Munich is very close to selling their central defender Matthijs de Ligt. However, they already have a replacement lined up for the Dutchman.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are confident in signing Bayer Leverkusen's center-back Jonathan Tah. Bayern believes their next offer to Bayer Leverkusen could be accepted, allowing them to start negotiations for personal terms with the player. Tah himself is eager to join Bayern.

It is worth recalling that the Dutch footballer is willing to accept a salary reduction for the move. Currently earning about 15 million euros at Bayern Munich, Manchester United is prepared to offer him less than 12 million.

Bayern has already set a price for the Dutchman. The Red Devils have already contacted the player's representatives. However, no constructive dialogue has taken place, as De Ligt has requested not to start negotiations yet. The Dutchman is currently focused on his performances at the European Championship.
