ANNOUNCED: Parker to face Bakole instead of Dubois

The fight between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker for the IBF world heavyweight title will not take place at this stage.

Details: Dubois will not be able to step into the ring due to illness. He will be replaced by Martin Bakole, which has been officially confirmed. The fight is set to take place on February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Joseph Parker’s last fight took place in March 2024, where he won by unanimous decision against Zhang Zhilei. Bakole’s last fight was in August, where he unexpectedly knocked out the promising heavyweight Jared Anderson.
