The Young Elephants are continuing their preparations for the second round of qualifiers for the 2027 U23 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. On Monday 2 November, the Ivorian squad began their second away training camp ahead of the two-legged tie against Kenya.

Under the guidance of head coach Sébastien Bannier, the players gathered at the Lycée Moderne de Cocody for this new training camp. The coaching staff of the Ivory Coast U23 national team have called up 31 players competing in the domestic leagues.

This training camp, which will end on Thursday 5 November, is intended to allow Sébastien Bannier to continue assessing his squad and prepare for the upcoming matches. Players who stand out will be selected for the two-legged tie.

Ivory Coast will first travel to Nairobi to face Kenya on 11 November, before hosting the Kenyans in Abidjan on 15 November for the return leg. The Elephants will need to overcome this hurdle to continue their journey towards the finals of the 2027 U23 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Egypt.
