A new full-back for San Siro! Milan preparing millions for Palmeiras talent
Italian giants AC Milan have added Palmeiras right-back Agustín Giay to their list of priority transfer targets as they look to strengthen the flanks of their defense.
Details: According to respected insider Ekrem Konur, the Rossoneri's scouting department is closely monitoring the progress of the 22-year-old Argentine while conducting a detailed analysis of his performances in the Brazilian championship. A potential move for the promising defender is valued at around €13 million, a figure considered well within the club's budget.
Milan's hierarchy are particularly attracted by the player's versatility, his high work rate when joining attacks and his reliability in one-on-one situations. The Italian club's bosses see the South American as a long-term solution at right-back, while the player himself has made no secret of his desire to test himself in one of Europe's top leagues.
It is worth noting that Agustín Giay began his professional career at Argentine club San Lorenzo and also wore the captain's armband for Argentina's U20 national team at the World Championship.
