Ancelotti spoke about innovations at Real Madrid due to an extremely busy schedule

Many players from European giants have repeatedly voiced concerns about the overly packed schedule. They have commitments in domestic leagues, cups, European competitions, and, periodically, national team matches. During the summer off-season, not all players get a chance to rest, as various tournaments might still demand their participation. As a result, a player could be involved in over 50 matches throughout a season.
To prevent player overload, Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti has shared how he plans to manage this issue. Los Blancos have decided to give players time off after their national team duties.
"We’re not thinking about the 2025/26 season yet, as it may start earlier for us due to the Club World Cup. Players need rest and vacations, and we are considering individual breaks for players," Marca quotes him.
"A player can't just play one week and then take time off with their family, especially for those involved with their national teams. They have very little rest.
For example, if Vinícius travels to Brazil for two matches, he’ll have four or five days off when he returns. This doesn't mean he won’t play in the next game; it just means he won’t train. This is the only solution. He can do whatever he wants during those days, and this is what we’re going to do."
It’s worth noting that Real Madrid will play their first La Liga match today, as they travel to face Mallorca.
