Alphonse Marie Tientcheu shows his ambitions with Unisport in Cameroon's Elite One

The 2025-26 season of Cameroon's professional football championship will kick off on Saturday 24 January. Ahead of the opening match between Unisport and Aigle Royal, a press conference was held on Friday.

Representing Unisport at this pre-match conference, Alphonse Marie Tientcheu spoke about his goals with his team. The midfielder aims to have a great season so that he can be recognised at the end of it, as he was in 20217.

‘My goal with Unisport remains the same: to be the best, to be Cameroon's Ballon d'Or winner, as in the past. When it comes to playing, I haven't lost my talent, and with the coach's support, I think I can get back to my best and help the team move forward,’ said Alphonse Marie Tientcheu.

The Unisport-Aigle Royal match, which will kick off the 2025-26 season in Cameroon, will start at 5 pm GMT at the Bafang stadium.
