Agreed to JJ Gabriel's terms: Spanish giant preparing a blockbuster move from Manchester United
Real Madrid have moved closer to signing Manchester United wonderkid JJ Gabriel. According to Spanish outlet Football365, the Madrid club are ready to meet the player's financial demands and Manchester United's terms in order to secure the promising striker.
Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have also been named among the clubs interested in signing the player. However, Real Madrid are now considered the favourites in the race for the highly rated Englishman.
According to the source, the transfer fee could be around €15 million. In addition, Gabriel is reportedly seeking a substantial salary that could reach seven figures.
Madrid are said to be ready to meet the demands of both parties, as the club view the youngster as an important investment for the future. The club also believe that, if his development progresses successfully, the player could be given a first-team opportunity within a relatively short period of time.
It was previously reported that 16-year-old Gabriel intends to leave Manchester United at the end of the current season. The young player is unhappy with his lack of opportunities to showcase himself in the first team and is considering continuing his career at one of Europe's elite clubs.
