Kenyan referees are set to take center stage at AFCON 2025, officiating the Round of 16 clash between South Africa and Cameroon at the Al Medina Stadium in Rabat on Sunday.

Peter Kamaku will lead the officiating team as the center referee, with Gilbert Cheruiyot and Stephen Yiembe serving as his assistants.

The Round of 16 match between South Africa and Cameroon is scheduled to kick off today, Sunday, 4th January 2026, at the Al Medina Stadium in Rabat, with a spot in the quarterfinals up for grabs.
