'We Will Fight for Victory Tomorrow' – Hassan Eyes Super Eagles in Bronze Battle

Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan has vowed that the Pharaohs will defeat Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the AFCON third-place playoff on Saturday. The match will be played at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, with sides seeking to end the tournament with a medal after semi-final defeats. Egypt lost 1-0 to Senegal, while Nigeria fell to hosts Morocco 4-2 on penalties after a draw.

Speaking before the game, Hassan said the playoff remains important. “We will fight for victory tomorrow to get on the podium and close the AFCON on a positive note,” he said, adding that “the most important thing now is to capitalize on the achievements of this AFCON and correct the mistakes… for the next competitions."
