AC Milan is reportedly considering signing a forward from Atletico Madrid

AC Milan is considering signing a replacement for departed striker Olivier Giroud, who has moved to LA Galaxy.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan is contemplating the signing of Atletico Madrid's forward Memphis Depay. Depay's contract with Atletico Madrid is set to expire at the end of June, and it has been reported that he will not renew his contract with the Spanish club, making him available on a free transfer.

As an alternative to Depay, Milan is also looking at Ermedin Demirovic from Augsburg. Demirovic had an impressive season in the Bundesliga 2023/2024, scoring 15 goals and providing 10 assists. His transfer is valued at around 25 million euros.

Additionally, Milan is interested in Joshua Zirkzee. Bologna is seeking 15 million euros for the young player, but Milan is hesitant to meet this valuation.

On another note, AC Milan is looking to sign Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk from Girona. The Ukrainian player's contract includes a release clause of 40 million euros.
