A price tag has been set. England international star closing in on Premier League exit
Tottenham defender Djed Spence could be on his way out of the London club during the summer transfer window. According to talkSPORT, the 25-year-old has been offered to several Premier League sides as well as clubs from Italy’s Serie A.
Milan and Inter are emerging as potential suitors for Spence. The Spurs’ board are prepared to consider offers in the region of £35 million, hoping to raise funds for further squad reinforcements.
Previously, Spence was unexpectedly linked with Liverpool; however, the Merseyside club are not in talks to sign him. Despite ongoing issues at right-back, the Reds have no intention of bringing in the England international.
Last season, Spence not only made an impact for Tottenham but also earned a call-up to the England national team. At the World Cup, the defender delivered a strong tournament, helping the squad secure bronze medals.
It’s worth noting that the Londoners are already reshaping their squad: Matheus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali have cost the club a combined £185 million, while Luka Vuskovic has been sold to Brighton for £46 million.
