2027 AFCON Qualifiers: Senegal’s official line-up for the match against Mozambique revealed

Patrick Vieira and his team are set to kick off their campaign in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Senegal will face Mozambique from 1 pm GMT at the Zimpeto National Stadium. This match, which will mark Patrick Vieira’s debut as head coach of the Lions of Teranga, carries particular significance.

Senegal will be keen to start this qualifying campaign on a high note. And the Lions of Teranga have what it takes to make life difficult for the Mambas.

In his starting XI, Patrick Vieira has fielded the national team’s familiar faces alongside two newcomers. However, Kalidou Koulibaly has been left on the bench and the captain’s armband has been handed to Moussa Niakhaté.
