Hearing the question, the manager grinned and exclaimed, "Do you want to be my assistant? Damn, you are magnificent!"—prompting laughter throughout the room.
As a reminder, the Citizens will temporarily set aside their Premier League battles to focus on the FA Cup. The two sides met in this competition last season, when Salford suffered a heavy 8-0 defeat.
