Manchester City's Premier League nightmare continues, and the situation is getting increasingly alarming.

Details: On Saturday, November 7, Manchester City suffered their third consecutive Premier League defeat, losing 3-1 away to Nottingham Forest in matchday 10. Enzo Maresca's side endured a disastrous evening at the City Ground, where the hosts delivered one of the biggest surprises of the round.

Nottingham Forest made a sensational start. Jair Cunha opened the scoring in the sixth minute after capitalizing on a mistake by Josko Gvardiol. Just 12 minutes later, former Manchester City striker Liam Delap doubled the hosts' advantage with an impressive solo effort.

After the break, Rayan Cherki pulled one back for the visitors in the 52nd minute, giving City hope of a comeback. However, Delap struck again in the 73rd minute, completing his brace and securing a stunning 3-1 victory for Nottingham Forest.

City's losing streak in the Premier League began with a 2-1 defeat against Aston Villa, followed by a 1-0 home loss to Brighton. Even Wednesday's 3-2 Champions League victory over RB Leipzig failed to change their fortunes in domestic competition.

It's worth noting that, according to Opta, City had not fallen two goals behind so early in a Premier League match since November 2019, when Liverpool established a two-goal lead by the 13th minute.
