Karim Benzema will leave Al-Hilal after just a few months with the Saudi club. According to AS, the 38-year-old Frenchman has already received several offers from other teams and intends to continue his professional career.
Benzema has yet to make a final decision on his next club, but the striker is not considering retirement. Possible destinations previously mentioned as options for continuing his career include Al-Ittihad, whom the Frenchman has already represented, as well as Al-Shabab.
Benzema joined Al-Hilal in 2026, moving from another Saudi powerhouse, Al-Ittihad. The striker has made 16 appearances for his new club, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists.
The situation surrounding Benzema changed after Al-Hilal all but completed the signing of Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli. The deal for the Brazilian is expected to have a major impact on the squad and has effectively paved the way for the veteran Frenchman to leave.
Benzema's move to Al-Hilal previously caused a major stir in Saudi Arabia. It was reported that the transfer even angered Cristiano Ronaldo, who believed the club had gained an advantage thanks to the existing rules of the local transfer market.
