What a comeback! Brighton recover from 2-0 down to lead Manchester United 3-2

Shea Lacey opened the scoring in the eighth minute on his first senior start for United, before Mason Mount doubled the hosts' advantage less than a minute later.
However, Brighton refused to collapse. Charalampos Kostoulas pulled one back before the interval, giving the visitors hope and completely changing the mood of the contest.
The Seagulls continued to push after the break and eventually completed the comeback. Pascal Gross restored parity at 2-2, before Brighton struck again to move 3-2 ahead after having trailed by two goals early in the match.
The match is still in progress, meaning Manchester United still have time to respond, but the momentum has swung dramatically after their explosive opening. It is worth noting that Brighton had won seven of their previous 11 meetings with Manchester United in all competitions before this cup tie.
