According to Oblak, Atletico were too afraid of Arsenal, which prevented them from playing their own game:
"In the first half, we showed Arsenal too much respect and were afraid to play.
It was better after the break, but it still wasn't enough to reach the final. We were unlucky and we are disappointed, but that's football. Arsenal were better and they're in the final." - admitted Oblak.
Arsenal defeated Atletico 2-1 on aggregate to reach the Champions League final for the first time in 20 years. In the final, the Gunners will face the winner of the Bayern vs PSG clash, which takes place later this evening.
