In the upcoming UEFA Nations League and the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the Wales national team will be under the guidance of a new head coach.

Today, the Football Association of Wales officially dismissed Rob Page from his position as head coach. This decision was made following the team's poor performance in the final rounds of the Euro 2024 qualifiers and their subsequent defeat to Poland in the playoff final.

Rob Page had been in charge of the Wales national team since October 2020. Initially, he served as the interim head coach, replacing Ryan Giggs, and later took on the role permanently. Under his leadership, Wales competed in Euro 2021 and the 2022 World Cup.

The Football Association of Wales has not yet announced the name of the new head coach.

Wales will begin the new Nations League campaign in League B, where they will face Turkey, Iceland, and Montenegro in their group.
