HIGHLIGHTS. Francis Ngannou fought Tyson Fury, but the Briton won on points

Yesterday, an exhibition match took place between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou. The British boxer's WBC championship belt was not on the line, and the bout lasted for ten rounds.
The "Gypsy King" was considered the clear favorite in this encounter, but the former UFC fighter had no intention of giving up and put up a worthy fight. Ngannou even managed to knock Fury down, but Fury got back up and continued the contest. As a result, the fight went the distance for all ten rounds.
In the early rounds, Fury had the advantage, but after his knockdown, the bout evened out. Towards the end of the match, neither of the competitors initiated attacks, and it was evident that they didn't want to finish the fight with a knockout.
After the final bell, the boxers embraced and awaited the judges' decision. According to the judges' panel, Tyson Fury secured the victory with a three-point lead (95-94 Ngannou, 96-93 Fury, 95-94 Fury). Following the announcement of the results, there was visible disagreement from Ngannou, but despite this, he congratulated his opponent on the win.
Fury's next fight in December will be against Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk for the title of the undisputed heavyweight world champion. Usyk's WBO, IBF, WBA, and IBO belts will be on the line, along with Fury's WBC belt.
