Unexpectedly. Haaland left on the bench, Guehi debuts for Manchester City

On Saturday, January 24, Manchester City will host the Premier League's main outsider on their home turf.

Pep Guardiola has surprised everyone with his starting XI against Wolverhampton, as Erling Haaland will not be in the lineup from the first minutes. Taking his place at the spearhead of the attack will be Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush, who recently returned from the Africa Cup of Nations.

It's worth noting that the Norwegian striker had previously started every one of City's 22 league matches this season, always appearing in the starting eleven.

Also of note, City's winter signing Marc Guehi will make his debut. The England international will partner with Abdoukhodir Khusanov at the heart of the defense.
