"UEFA isn't even hiding its favoritism toward Real" – Prestianni posts controversial message on social media, then deletes it
Gianluca Prestianni remains firmly in the spotlight ahead of tonight’s clash at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Details: Benfica’s Argentine midfielder, Gianluca Prestianni, who has been suspended by UEFA, posted a scathing message on X, accusing referees and organizers of blatant bias in favor of the Madrid club.
"Throwing a punch off the ball is allowed—everyone sees it—and there’s no sanction. Punishments are handed out without evidence. They’re not even hiding their favoritism toward Real anymore. It’s a disgrace," wrote the player, commenting on an incident involving Fede Valverde.
The post was online for only a few minutes before Prestianni deleted it, but screenshots had already begun to circulate widely.
Reminder: The situation escalated after UEFA rejected Benfica’s appeal earlier today, upholding the midfielder’s suspension. As a result, Prestianni is officially ruled out of the Madrid showdown.
